Multiple Microsoft 365 services with Teams integration have been affected by what initially appeared to be a brief Microsoft Teams outage, including Exchange Online, Windows 365, and Office Online.
More than eight hours ago, the business announced on its official Microsoft 365 Status Twitter account that it has “received complaints of users being unable to access Microsoft Teams or leverage any functionalities.”
Redmond announced two hours later that a recent deployment with a failed connection to an internal storage service was the root of the connectivity issues.
However, users started to reported issues connecting to multiple Microsoft 365 services, thus Teams was not the only product affected by the outage.
Microsoft acknowledged the problems and stated that only the services that came with Teams integration were impacted by the subsequent Microsoft 365 outage.
Microsoft stated that the integration of Teams had a negative impact on a number of Microsoft 365 services, including Microsoft Word, Office Online, and SharePoint Online.
